I am sharing with you a poem I wrote in highschool while I was still a virgin so it may be a bit juvenile:) Enjoy!

Prince of Dreams

Prince of Dreams journey to my heart,
Heal this wound that tears my world apart.
Guide me gently; though make it swift,
prevent the waves from sending me adrift.
Appease this throbbing, savory desire,
consume me with loves' ferver fire.

I wait for my Prince to carry me away,
searching for him at the end of a dying day.
Those eyes bind me forever in my dreams,
desolate nights suspened by radiant moonbeams.
Rapscallion and brigand he may be,
trapped in his embrace I will never flee.

United forever we strive,
battling uncertainties, fighting to survive.
Our love, a valiant test,
proclaimed by a lovers' steadfast conquest.
A love that will always exist,
even the coldest of hearts could never resist.
E.J.
So hope it wasn't too corny I was sixteen when I wrote this and was an avid reader of romance novels, can you tell:)

I liked it! It reminded me alot of the kind of poems i use to write when i was younger. I was always wayyy to embarrased to share my tho. Mine were usually sad and eventually had alot of cussing in it lol. I stopped writing over the yrs and this may have inspired me to try writing again. It always helped me alot when there were problems in my life!

Thank you soo much. I knew I was taking a chance on some calling it nonsensical fluff, but I feel ok with any criticisms that may come my way:)

I would love to read any thing you write:)

I look forward to reading what your mind conjures:)

That was wonderful!   Being sixteen and feeling that like was awesome.   Pure thoughts from an unjaded mind.    True love is not wasted on the very young, it is wasted on the worldly jaded people who can't even see love when it is right in front of them.
