In your 30s do your sex drive increase or decrease?

I do not know who told my dh this but he said that when a woman is in her 30s that means that she hit her prime years and wants sex even more. He said that women want sex more than men but are too shy to admit it. I'm 32 & find the opposite happening to me. I only want sex once maybe twice out if the week & I'm good with that. My sex drive was high when I was in my 20s but now it has slowed down. Dh thinks we should be doing it twice a day now that I'm in my 30s lol

I was 29 when I had my first baby, and 43 with my 5th. So from 30 to 45 my sex drive was nearly non-existent. But NOW?!? I'm 46 and would have sex once a day if I could. My husband and I are having marriage issues and he also is impotent, so crap, bad timing dude!!! My therapist says women's sex drive kicks back in in the FORTIES, typically when sex-for-babymaking becomes sex-for-fun and women have a re-awakening. I'm having multiple orgasms for the very first time in my life (I have a bag of toys, no man involved here because of circumstances). I don't know any woman who has hit her "prime" already in just her 30's!!!

I had a crazy sex drive in my 20's. And like I said, from 30-45 I had a low sex drive and didn't even want sex once a month. Heck, when I was 32 I still hadn't had my second baby so my sex life hadn't totally hit the fan yet. From conversations I've had with all of my friends, I'd say your husband is pretty lucky to be getting it twice a week, but I also think it totally matters how old your kids are and where you are on the babymaking season of your marriage.

I am 39. I have heard the same thing. I found my sex drive picked up a lot by about age 36.

I am 24 and have a crazy sex drive when I am pregnant.  I remember my mom in her late 30s having a an insatiable sex drive.  We could hear her at night begging Daddy of more sex and to go deeper into her.  We could her screaming as she had an orgasm and trying to have another one.

I'm 37 and my sex drive is outrageous if I could be having sex or would definitely be daily and more than once a day. I have found that my sex drive has not changed especially since I had a hysterectomy I want it a lot more but I know once I get to have sex it instead going to be the way I want it cause my husband is a one and dome man and I don't get off at all and I know I'm going to want more since I already have the urge and have to wait another week before I can

It is different for everyone. I heard age 46 is the age woman seem to want it more. I found that after I had my daughter, several months later hormones were going haywire and I wanted it a lot in my 30's. I worked at the local pharmacy and we had guy customers at age 35 picking up their Viagra or Cialis.

Everybody is different in terms of when they hit their "prime".

NORMAL is a setting on your washing machine.

I'm 47 now (48 in March) and unfortunately I've officially reached menopause as it's been 14 months w/o a period. Not to mention 22 lbs out of nowhere, thinning hair, hot flashes and all the other wonders of ovaries that have given up the ghost ;)

My sex drive was always pretty least until recently. Oh geez, it died a sudden death here.

I was incredibly horny during my 2nd and 3rd trimesters while I was pregnant.

I would say that I sexually peaked from age 34-45. I experienced my first multiple orgasms in my 30's. I felt my best and looked my best in my 30's. The early 40's were not bad, either. Actually this part of my 40's wasn't too bad until the menopause hit. It just sucks.

Other things that have ruined my sex drive prior to menopause were the pill, Depo Provera (turned me into a moody bitch), depression, and the first trimester of pregnancy because I was tired and nauseated.

BTW, I am not on hormone replacement therapy. I have considered it but read about the increased risk of dementia with it so f*ck that...

We all hit our sexual prime at different times. There are so many physical, mental and emotional factors that can also affect our sex drive.

My DH hit his prime in his 30's and was strong into his early 50's. It dropped off pretty dramatically around age 57 or so. He's 59 now. Yeah, a bit of an age difference between us.

Don't feel pressured by anyone to conform to certain expectations.

I'm 30. My sex drive is higher than its been in years. My husbands has seemed,to decline... A lot. He use to tell me that id never get a break. Like he expected it 7 days a week 365 a year.... Id like to know what happened to that. Lol.

I'm 30 and I have a higher sex drive than I did at 20. When I was 20, sex was fun and felt SOOOOOOOO good, but when I wasn't having it I would forget about it. I didn't really think about it. Now I do.
BUT, my sex drive is nothing compared to my husband's. He pretty much wants to have sex all the time. When we were on vacation last August and had no stress and plenty of time and where relaxed, he had sex five or six or more times a day.

We have sex almost every day and have for 20 years.  Sometimes even more than once a year so I can not comment, I do not think my sex drive could increase.  I masturbate in addition maybe 3 times a week so I am at max sex and have been since my mid 20s.

He's using that as an excuse. Lol any man would want it twice a day! 😂 SO has said that same thing to me though. I'm 29. I have a lower sex drive than him.
