You can't always be "in love" with your SO. That would be exhausting. I come in and out of it, but I could never care more for a partner.

It depends on multiple areas of your life together also. Such as happiness, sex, how much (if) you argue, etc.

I don't love my Husband.He asked me flat out tonight if I wanted a Divorce.I have never been more happy in all my life besides my Kids.

 I don't love him... I respect him (to a degree) because he's the father of my child & a good provider... but love?  Not so much.

I love my husband.  I am in love with him.  I have been in love with him 24/7 for nearly a quarter of a century.  He is my soulmate.  It makes me sad when other people think anything less is "good enough"
