I love my job, but I sometimes hate the people I deal with. I'm not a magician. I cannot give you free things or credit your account every month. Do not buy a smartphone if you don't want to pay for it. Don't bitch at me because I won't give you free unlimited internet. Don't bitch at me because somebody told you something and I can't do it. Its not my fault that you were told the wrong information. Don't shoot the freaking messenger!

Text I got from a customer:

(note: she was told she could get an unlimited data plan for $10. I told her I had no way to do that and if someone offered her that deal to go to them. She insisted the company would give it to her so sign her up because she wanted a good deal on her phone. She called me bitching the next day because they wouldn't give her the deal. I spent 3 hours talking to customer care because I'm nice and called her back to tell her why she.couldn't get the deal)

"I'm not happy with that answer. I signed up because the company you work for offered me this deal. I am not paying the additional $120 a year for the mistake. I was misled and this is awful customer service."

Bitch, I TOLD you I personally could not give you this imaginary deal. You were the one that insisted it would be fine and asked that I set you up. Don't freak out on me!

I sort of do. I'm not in customer service though. I do sales. She said it was customer service that called her.

But I hate some of the stores. They recently have been telling people not to come to us (inside Walmart and Sams) because our phones are refurbished, used or defective. They buy the same phones direct from Tmobile and the manufacturers as corporate. But hey, anything to scare up a buck I guess. Assholes.
