Last time I dyed my hair (with the same color I've been using for 2 years), it came out PURPLE instead of auburn. Really purple. Everyone kept going, "oh, you went with purple instead of red this time?", and my boss threatened to send me home the first day. it lighted back to the color i intended after about a week.
