How hard is it to go from 2 to 3 kids? Hubby and I are considering a 3rd one but going from 1 to 2 was hard for me!

Fucking hard. 1 to 2 was a cake walk. 2 to 3 was insane. Still is.

I agree with this! I love all 3 of them, but it's so hard to do anything without help.

For us, it was very hard. I know most people will say that it was harder to go from one to two. But the third was very hard for us. part of it was that I had a very bad pregnancy. I was on bed rest a long time and that was stressful. Then, after she was born, she got very sick and that added to the stress. Dh and I were arguing a lot. It was just a very difficult transition for us. It took us about a year to settle in to it. Part of what was so hard was that before, it wasn't too hard to take two boys with one parent, we could have time alone. Once we had our third, that didn't happen anymore. It was just too hard to keep track of three kids under five all alone. As dh would say, we had to go from one on one defense to zone defense. ;)

Now, I wouldn't change it. but it was a lot.....

1 to 2 was easy just because they have different dads and their 3 years apart.. but 2 to 3 was hard just because I got pregnant 3 months after I had DD2 and it was only hard because I wasn't able to enjoy DD2.. now 2 years later, were expecting #4 in March =) I don't think it's hella crazy it mostly depends on how far apart they are =) well at least that's what I think from my own experience =)

.jade.
