My husband and I have decided to get a divorce. Its just hitting home and after 14 years I am thinking I would like us to counseling and see if we can work it out. I am afraid he will just reject that idea. What should I do?

Thank you! I guess I am just afraid of rejection. But I want to make sure we are making the right choice too.

Nothing worse than living with regrets. Talk to him, it's not too late, as long as the papers aren't filed there is still time. Maybe he is thinking the same thing?
What do you have to lose?
Good Luck

If he hasnt physically, mentally, or verbally abused you. Then follow your heart.
You both need to sit down and talk about your reasons, what you feel has failed in your marriage, what you feel you can change or work on .
I regret leaving my husband everyday . But hes moved on and it kills me watching him love another woman while I still do and still am legally married but cant call him mine.
