A hard decision-story

A friend of mine had told me this story about her first child at 18! I love this story! I am going to tell it in her perspective!

" Right now I'm about to make the hardest decision of my life! I just had my son and I knew that he was going to have special needs. I didn't want to abort him because it's wrong! So I decided for adoption only problem is I didn't decide on a family because it's so hard. It's my child but I don't know if I can raise or have the financials for him. I'm not afraid of hard work it's just different with a special needs child. So I got both my side and baby's father side together, once I had him to decide what their intake is. Should we leave him at the hospital and never know where he's going or do we take him home and raise him together? We all couldn't decide or agree. So we decided just wait til tomorrow and try again. Well I had one full of a surprise the next day! My Mother in Law (not really but is more like a mother than anything) decided she would take him home and adopt him! I was crying so hard, that she was willing to take him and give him the attention and financils he needed!"

So to this day she still gets to see her son! Only problem is she feels guilty and responsible for baby's special needs. Idk how because she took very good care of herself when she was pregnant. I think she made an best and honest decision ever!

Good story, glad she had people to help her make the decision and someone to step up and take her child in.
