Do you allow your kids to play outside alone?
My sons are soon to be 9 and 8; today I was outside with them while they played with a friend. So, I come in the house for 8 minutes and go back out and their bikes are in the yard and they are NO WHERE to be found. They were at a friends house but did not tell me where they were going. I was LIVID! My rule is you tell me where you are going. Yes, they are on punshiment for breaking that rule because I was looking for them and go panicked when I could not find them.
I have drilled this RULE into their heads, so let's see if it happens again.
