I find it so gross when people bathe with their kids. My sister still does with her 3&4 year old nephews. It gives me the hebeejeebees seriously.

I have no problem with it. I bathe with my 2 year old son on occasion. I can remember taking showers with my mom. It just a personal preference.

See I dont get it. At 2 he is old enough to notice the difference and it grosses me out. I can honestly say I have never showered with my 8 year old DD.

Why though? Seems like it would be work your body is slippery so I know its not easier. I think I may be a bit prudish when it comes to stuff like this. How can I teach private areas if I'm bathing with her?

My DD takes showers with me. Its easier. We get in, i wash her up, then i wash up and get out and by the time im dressed she is done playing. My DD is 1.5 yrs old.

A lot of the times its just me and her, and i don't want to leave her unatended while im showering, plus she needs one everyday to.

I shower with my two year old ds when I am in a hurry and don't have the time to do it separately. If it made him uncomfortable then I wouldn't do it, but he doesn't seem to care at all. He is to busy playing with the soap suds and splashing in the water to pay any attention to me or my body. When he starts paying more attention or starts asking me about my body then I will stop showering with him, but until then I don't see a problem with it. Its not like its sexual or anything, its just easier to get our showers both done at once, to kill two birds with one stone.

I think it's gross you sexualize children.

See this I kind of understand a shower is completely different from a bath although I wouldn't shower either. My did actually told me her friend bathed with her boys too that just disturbed the heck out of me. I couldn't imagine someone elses kid seeing me naked.
