seeing peoples children with stained clothes or food stained faces when going shopping ewwwww. Also i hate seeing children with snot all over their face and their mothers just wipe their face with their own hand and wipe it on their clothes ugh... Sorry im ranting yes but it grosses me out that these mothers cant dress their kids in clean clothes or even wash their kids before bringing them out in public. Also showing picture of your children dirty like that with a room filled to the ceiling of crap and their kids are in the middle of a huge ass mess ugh...
i meant more like dirty clothes that havent been washed i should have rephrased that

I agree 100%. I always wonder if people look at the background of their pictures. I always make sure my kids are cleaned up before they leave the house. My kids know they will not leave the house until teeth are brushed and hands and faces are washed. My cousins kids are the worst, we saw them at walmart last week and her kids where filthy. I was actually embarrassed to even stop and talk to her. Her kids clothes are at least 2 sizes too big and covered in dirt and food. All four kids teeth are completely rotted out of their mouths. I am not saying we have not been outside playing and decided to go get ice cream and just washed them off with the hose but seriously it is 30 degrees outside there is no reason for a kid to be that filthy.
Certainly I can understand why you would feel upset about seeing these things: assuming that you "feel bad" for the child or children's well being and wishing they had better. But, you can't always assume that these children are being neglected at all...I have picked my children up from school and went directly to the store (although they had eaten lunch at school and wiped their hands on their pants, or spilled something on their shirt at lunch)....and obviously it doesn't mean that I don't take care of MY kids or care about their apperance..it is just that there was no reason to go back home change and then go out in public to even care about what others were thinking about me as a parent...I KNOW I AM A GOOD PARENT and I don't care what others are thinking about me and my kids. But , that brings me to perspective and judgement..although you are ranting you have to realize that this happens more than not and just because you may see things like this that disgust you for whatever reason ...you have to take a step back and put yourself in someone elses shoes.....those parents are busy, they are tired, they are sometimes poor or broke or whatever...but, you really have to gain some perspective of thinking to yourself "why do you care" and "would you like to be judged that way"...just sayin'
I agree, but we all know kids are messy little people. You can usually tell if a kid is just messy or if their parents aren't keeping them clean.
