I ask because I know someone who left their husband because he was wheel chair bound. I would stay till death do us part. Has anyone else been in that situation and didn't stay?

I would be devestated, but I married in sickness and health so yes. And Yes, even if we couldn't have sex anymore *gasp*. It's sad that many people don't believe in true marriage any more.

I didn't marry my husband based on his ability to walk..... that person needs to reevaluate herself... how could u leave someone just because they are injured or disabled!

Yes, I would stay. I can't believe someone would leave. Yes, you may get overwhelmed at times, but think abut how your once mobile and independent husband feels. (Not you op)
I don't get how people are so selfish. Especially when it comes to their spouse, the one person in the world who knows you like no other. I would spend every day making sure my spouse still felt like they were the most amazing person ever and make sure he still knew I needed him.
There is no way I could leave him.
