Good age to date?

Im Curious to all your opinions on when you would allow your teenager to date? I know a mom who let her 14 year old go out on a real date with a senior!! What do you think?

I say, 16 and atleast a sophomore, just my opinion though! :)

My mom let me have group dates from 14-16 and then alone dates after 16

I say 16 and have a curfew of 12:00 on Sat.

This is my rules, dating is when my girls are finish college, and to my son when he has a job to spent for a date........ very simple

I haven't thought about an age yet, but my mom was ok with my first boyfriend at 14.

I say 15-16 in group dates or stay at their houses and watch movies in the livingroom type deal. 16 and mature enough (HAHAHA) can go out on alone dates but as soon as things start going south... drugs alcohol grades dropping... no more!! All depends on the kid tho. My sis is 17 and started dating at 16, we are having issues with it now... I say we but I mean my mom vents to me (I'm 29) so IDK. You just have to make sure your kid knows the rules and sticks with them

We havent talked with our kids about dating ages and my parents never really had a set age with me.  I had a boyfriend from 5th grade to 8th grade and we would hang out at each others houses, but that was it. After that I didnt have a boyfriend or date anyone until I was 20 when I met hubby.

My parents allowed me to "date" at 13. I dated a 16 year old then.
