She's got molars comin in and a mild runny nose, she's nursed about ten times today and I'm starting to get blisters on my nipples. Each time I get her up she pulls on my shirt and screams for milk. But I'm totally out of milk and if I let her latch she bites cuz I'm empty. I hate letting her CIO but the tantrums when she's out of bed are worse. It's just one of those ba baby days for her I guess. I feel bad but shell eventually go to sleep and feel so much better when she wakes up.

2 moms liked this

Orajel doesn't really work for an extended period of time.  I'd just pick her up and comfort her. I have always thought cry it out, especially when you know your baby needs comfort because they are in pain or they are screaming, is just way too harsh.

The orajel just works long enough for her to fall asleep. But she's asleep now and only cried for about ten minutes. She was more mad than anything that I wouldn't nurse her, but I already did and she was mad there wasnt any more milk. Lol. Just a crappy day, she's usually the happiest baby ever but she has an attitude to boot.
