Me too, within reason. I don't allow her to violate others' person, feelings or property, or her own for that matter, but... everything else is not a big deal to me.

IMO people are WAY overboard with micromanagement and fighting the kids on every single insignificant thing. Speaks to big insecurity issues to me, that level of need for control.
