Can someone tell me the difference between...

i'm looking for a new church to attend, and i was always raised baptist, so i was wonderin, what the heck is the difference in all of them?

I could but it would take forever to type it out. And it varies from each church. The best thing to do is google it and look at reliable websites (like churches,etc) then go to a few churches and find the one you like.

If you're being serious, and not just wanting to stir up debate, I can try to explain.

First though, why are you looking for a different one? If it's the people, you're screwed, just start daily devotionals at home. Every church has people that suck.

If it's a difference in teachings, meetings, fellowship and/or discipline of lifestyle, I may be able to help but I'm not going to give advice to an anonymous poster with a hidden agenda to bash religion.

Methodist I similar to catholic from what I know

Pentecostals believe that the gifts weren't taken away ie tongues.. Services are usually lively

It's impossible really. The differences vary from one baptist church to another, from one Methodist church to another, etc.

I'm Pentecostal. So, I can tell you about Pentecostals. Basically, we believe in recieving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, with evidence of speaking in tongues. We believe in the differen manefestations--gifts--of the Holy Spirit.

It also depends on the denomination.
