So... for three nights I have left my bed and slept on the couch because my SO has taken the xbox to the bedroom at night. I cant sleep through the tv being on, and loud, the music and gunshots from the video games, and him YELLING into the headset all night long! I hate sleeping on the couch, but he cant stay in the living room doing that shit! He will wake DD up, and she wont go back to bed! UGH Why do I care so much? Why do I give so much of myself to sleep on the couch or in the living room floor just so he can stay up all night being a fucking kid? UGH!! Give me a fucking break! Needless to say, my Valentine's day sucks already!!!

I've learned to sleep through the noise. My SOs brother lives with us and xboxes are on pretty much non stop.

I wouldn't mind it but I'm used to it... at least he's at home with you and you know what he's up too. If he works this may be a way to relax for him maybe you two could make a schedule throughout the week to where he doesn't play all night and you get to sleep. I don't know sorry I'm no help.

Invest in some turtle beach headsets for him. You won't hear the tv but he can still hear what is going on in surround sound.

I'm glad my hubby doesn't play games all night long he plays if my teenage boys ask but other than that he doesn't play them. If he did I would tell him 2am is the cut off time or go in the freaking truck and play all he wants maybe not be a big screen but oh well.

No...he would turn it off...or he would turn it off. No choice, or hell would break loose.

He sounds very selfish. My ex would pull stuff like this. But he's the one who slept in the living room...He was always so loud.
