I should be happy...

with what I got today. It was only a card but I should be happy with it. I have to admit that I am still disapointed. It is more than I got the last two years. I am just dissapointed becasue I took the time and effort to find a gift I knew he would like.

I am just done with today. I am tired of getting my hopes up and then being disapointed. If you expect nothing than you are excited when you get something right?

I'm sorry, but I really don't understand the materialism of some people.

Isn't a healthy husband or SO enough? Aren't healthy kids enough? I mean, sure the other stuff is nice, but I'd rather have a healthy, caring husband and healthy, happy kids over any jewelry, flowers, etc..any day.

I know I should be happy with it.

I would just like to see him put the same thought into something like I do.

What I got him wasn't much. I don't care if it cost 50 cents if he put the time into thinking about something I would like.

I see what you're saying. Unfortunately, most men aren't hopeless romantics like most women, lol.

Men can be so clueless! But hey, it's better than nothing.

Seriously, get over it. Does your man tell you he loves you on a regular basis? Is a good daddy/daddy figure to your kids? There are so many bigger fish to fry then wether or not you got flowers and chocolate on v-day.

I agree. Valentines day is a fun reason for kids to have a little party at school... Im an adult and I just dont need gifts because of it... Hugs, kisses and an awesome husband is enough.

Why not discuss your expectations before the day? Men are not mind readers!!!

Seriously FUCK OFF!!!

Yes but you know what. It is also nice to have that extra special thought put into something. I could give a shit less about flowers or chocholate. I would like something that shows that he put thought into it. Yes he tells me he loves me multiple times a day but most of us like that something a lil special every now and again.
