No. I find there are too many predators online these days. I have been there and done it. Got hurt twice, and it was all an illusion that I created in my own head. I would never go there again. It could be some weirdo over in Nigeria who jerks off to our photos for all we know. 

Meeting the old fashioned way is the best way. Online is too anti-social. If we have time to meet someone online via email to form a future relationship, then we have enough time to get out and do the real dating scene.

I think it is. I also think its eaier to fall in love with them based of personality rather then looks. But like an above poster said its easier to lie too.

Yes, I didn't meet DH in person till we'd 'been together' a year online.  Married 3 years now with 3 beautiful kids together and he'll be adopting my oldest when finances allow.

Absolutely. When I was 15 I met a boy online. We kept in contact through emails and, with parental permission, phone calls. I always had a crush on him. We talked for 10 years before finally deciding to meet. I knew I was in love with him before I flew down there. We had a short relationship. I still care for him a great deal and always will
