I am so sick of breastfeeding rights

I am seeing so many "nurse-ins" and stupid crap like it that it makes me sick.  Those babies are being paraded around and completely exploited by their own MOTHERS all because women want the right to make others uncomfortable.  Take your baby to the bathroom or the car.  Nurse it before you leave the house.  Let it (GASP) cry for a minute so you check out.  And if you must breast feed in public, do it decently in a private area.  Even WIC offices and churches have private areas. It may be a perfectly natural thing, but it still involves bare tits and so should also involve modesty.  And marching your ass around a building with 100 other moms with everyone's tits hanging out is anything BUT modest.  It makes me sick.  Those poor kids are going to need therapy when they are older.  I feel bad for them already.  Who knows what other ways those moms will use their kids for their own benefit.

I did not breastfeed my daughter, but I have NO problem with a woman nursing her child out in public. Babies need to eat...... plus I am not a weirdo when it comes to a breast being used as it is supposed to be used.

Mommy to a sweet little princess named Saylor, and due with our second little one around July 28th.

Take your bottle fed baby to the bathroom or to eat in a hot/cold car..... And please cover your child with a blanket because I don't to see a bottle in your babies mouth.

Sounds redicules doesn't it? That's how you sound about breastfeeding in public.

It's very hard not to say something very rude to you about this, but I will say, I don't care what you think about when and where I will breastfeed.

Don't hate because those moms want to give their babies the very best start they can.

*too much negativity*

I breastfeed, but I'm not an extremist like other women. If you go off to the side of the room and leave everything covered, people are usually none the wiser.

When I hear a baby cry I think  "Dang, give 'em your boob, Lady!". I would rather see a nursing baby then hear a screaming baby any day.

I have no problem with breast feeding and if ever I have more children, I fully intend to solely breastfeed.

That being said, I am a modest person by nature and I would not be the sort of person to just whip out a titty anywhere strangers can see me. If I had to breastfeed in public, I would do so in as private a manner as possible, like using a little receiving blanket over the area or something akin.

Some women don't have that hangup, and it doesn't bother me whatsoever. For me, it's not something I'd do. /shrug
