I don't know much about STD's

Don't have sex.  Use condoms. Know your partner for more than 2 seconds before you hump them.  Have your partner get tested.

 is this serious? you really don't know how to prevent stds??? do you live under a rock??? either way... there are these things called condoms.... you should check them out.

First you have to know your self, if you have had sex before go get tested. If you are planning on having sex with anyone make sure they get tested. Then you guys should talk about your options, not having any sexual relation is the only way to prevent it 100%. This includes oral, and anal sex. But if you are going to be active condoms are the number one method of protection.
