Seventh Day Adventists

So I am wondering if there are any Seventh Day Adventists in here. If so what are your plans for your children's schooling or if they are in school what kind of schooling are they in? I was raised Baptist and turned SDA when I married my husband and he went to a SDA private school most of his life verses me going to public school. And I know that most activities like games and dances in public schools happen on the Sabbath and I wouldn't want my kids missing out on stuff like that. So any advice?

who made up that rule? My husband went to a SDA private school and they had formals.

It depends on your values and what's important to you. Which is more important to you school dance or Sabbath?
