CPS sucks for children!

so what options exist when CPS doesn't take action?  A local mother is abusive to her children on EVERY level.  she doesn't bathe her children, no, not just a night missed here and there, the children are utterly filthy.  Greasy, matted hair, unkempt, just plain nasty.  middle of January and February in PA, is cold.  Hardly time to go out without socks or with flip flops to school.  she kicks her children, punches them calls them worthless pieces of shit and drops the f-bomb on a regular basis.  She withholds food, and refuses to feed them.  says she cannot afford it.  (ill address that in a minute).

She overdosed on her child's medication (adderall) and Oxycontin, along with various diet pills.  She was rushed to the hospital via ambulance.  so yeah, they know.

she is always high, drunk etc.  Hell she got a DUI a few months ago for hitting a HOUSE and running from the accident.  this after she crashed into a car, drove away and turned in her accident as hit and run (yeah, no shit she was the guilty one, not the victim)...

in terms of income, she works (one thing she does do) although she rapes them as well but, they allow her and pay her a nice $15/hour to do so... in addition she receives over $1400/month in child support, free lunches, subsidized child care, $500/month in SSDI benefits... (she exploits those systems as well via fraud) again, yes, they know.. she lets her kids in daycare while she lays in the bar or fucks various men for money....and our tax dollars PAY for the care... not just so she can work her job but so she can rock on.. hell she leaves them there (gets her 17 year old niece to pick them up) while she vacations at the shore...

CPS IS in her life... question.. at what point do they actually do something??  seriously?  why does she still have her children... we used to be "friends" until her son tried to drown my son (she thought it was funny) and touched my daughters privates (thank goodness we educated her in good touch/bad touch and she told)... seriously, there's more, much, much more... but when is it dealt with?  at what point are the children safe.... something bad, like death bad (her oldest is a fire stater) and she lets them home alone while she "runs to the bar or store" the are ages 6, 8. and 9... any ideas or suggestions????    I will do almost anything (except place my children there) to ensure they get help...

Im sorry...I have no idea what to do???  I would just keep calling and reporting her...Have the kids over..if they are that filthy, take pictures...show them to the police??  Is there a way to record any of this??

My son was friends with a little girl that lived in similar conditions..I never understood why she cried every time we took her home...then one day she told me everything that went on at home...I made a point to buy the family groceries and deliver them myself...My son was convieniently with me playing with my camera and making a video of her showing him her house and where she slept...which was in a dog cage on a towel...

I took the video to the police and she was removed that day...

Sorry I wish I knew what to tell ya...Just try to keep the kids at your house as much as possible....and keep reporting her....

I'd find out who the caseworker is and go over their head to a manager. If what you say is true, it does sound like a solid case of abuse and neglect. Good luck.

Keep calling the police. If this really is 100% true and the police won't do anything go to the media. They'll get some attention quick!

Call the police when they are left home alone, daycare is not doing their job if they are not reporting them daily for not being clean, what about going over the case workers head, sometimes they do have so many cases they get lost sad to say from the bull crap call people do, not really sure. Is there any family that can go to court to get the? Their father? Feel bad for the kids. Maybe google and see if there is any other kind of group in the area that can help
