Would you let your son wear nail polish?

Monkey is 2 and a half and at that age where he loves to copy every single thing his older sister does including painting her nails. He asks all the time.

Should I just buy clear polish and paint his toes? I feel bad telling him no because he can't understand typical gender roles.

No. I wouldn't.

IMO, that's when you start teaching your child gender roles they can understand.

If you're raising him with gender neutrality, then go ahead! :-)

I could care less even if they were pink. It is only toes and he's not going to school so he won't get bullied.

Well only to a certain extent. He can play with his sisters dolls and strollers and other girls things but he doesn't wear dresses

My sons toes are painted silver. I really don't care. My boys are 5 and 2. It comes off eventually and it's not hurting anyone *shrug*
