If President Obama was White, do you think he would receive the same votes? And do you think it would affect possible 2nd term?
This is a spinoff of a post about if he was dark skinned.
Posted here for those who NEED Anon to answer honestly ;)
I don't care if he's black, white, yellow, green or purple. He's a bad president and doing terrible things for our country, including stealing away our civil rights without apology or a backward glance! I would loathe such a president regardless of his "race".

Black is not a race, black is the description of the color of someone's skin, which is further incorrect because Obama's skin is brown. Our skin can be a variety of shades of brown and I have seen some African American's with very dark brown skin, but not black. African American is part of his ethnic/cultural background so if you want to refer to his ethnicity, that would be African American, not black. Same goes for someone with white skin, they may be from Europe, Latin America, Asia and even Africa. The description of the color of their skin doesn't necessarily dictate their ethnic or cultural background.

I will not be voting for him come election time. Yes I did vote for him last time, I regret it, I honestly thought he would be a good pres. but he sucks. Has nothing to do with the color of his skin! I just don't like the way he has done things the last 4 years, and hope beyond hope that someone else gets it. I was for Hillary last time, but she didn't have a chance, sure wish she would have gotten in. So no, I don't care, white, black, hispanic, woman or male, it doesn't matter to me so long as you do a good job. I don't think he has, at all, and we will not vote for him again.
I'm not debating with you, I'm just stating what it is. It may be simple to you, but not everyone with brown skin is from Africa. Jamaicans don't want to be called African American's because they're not. Dominican's, Haitians, Puerto Ricans, Brazilians, etc. typically have brown skin, but they are not from Africa either. I wasn't born and raised in Africa, but that is the ethnicity of my ancestors so I identify with African American or Black American.
