My soon to be exhusband has no clue that I am doing everything in power to hold the divorce off. I am doing it for several reasons mainly one is insurance I can't afford my meds on my own.

Telling him I have all the papers ready to file and then I keep telling him things are coming up to postpone it.

um if you need insurance and cant afford it, then get on PA! That's selfish of you to hold off the divorce...

 I'm sorry but its really not fair to him. If your partner doesn't want to be in a relationship with you any longer why not let him move on?

 I know someone that did that.  She got diagnosed with breast cancer a year ago so they posponed the divorce so the insurance would pay for the treatment.  She is holding things up now because shes afraid shes uninsurable because of the cancer.

Sometimes you have to do things like that. My father in law never married his girlfriend who was dying of cancer because they thought him getting stuck with the medical bills when she died wasn't fair

why else are you doing it?

even after the divorce, my dad had to keep my mom on his medical insurance for 2 years after it was official-- per the divorce decree. maybe you can put that in there and in that time frame, get yourslef back on track, medically?

Nope my husband works at Walmart and they dont allow that.
