i think MOST of you are all full of shit about most shit that gets posted that gives people an opportunity to brag or think might impress someone (e.g. your house, car, education, amount spent of Xmas, birthday, etc.).

My oldest son actually does have a high IQ, 127 last time he was tested. I'm not full of shit, just stating what I was told. This has not been a blessing to him however, and he has had a lot of behavioral issues because of it. He's an adult now, and "might" go to college. As of now he's content to work for minimum wage and get high every day. A lot of good it did him.

I don't have any idea what my kids' IQ's are, and most aren't probably that high, but some are I'm sure. My mom's IQ is 156. She had it tested professionally by a qualified testing center. She was a 4.0 all through high school, and was on the Dean's List in college.

I am a high school teacher and I also have a gifted child. I won't give her exact IQ so it won't appear as bragging, but it is over 120. I teach AP History and most of those kids have been tested. I have several who have IQ'S in the 135-140 range. You are correct that it isn't the norm, but it isn't as rare as you think. Over 150 is a lot rarer.

 I have an IQ of 132, and I'm a SAHM. My husbands is 128, and he is the guy who details cars at an automotive shop. My oldest son is 4 with an IQ of 129, and we are pushing him from head start to kindergarten so he doesn't end up like us!
