I told my 14 yr old daughter

That she is forbidden to her wear her boots to school as a way to discipline her! She hates me for that!
Any one else ever use something similar like that? Take some sort of favorite outfit or clothing item away from them for discipline purposes?
I prefer discipline that is related to the original offense. So it depends, but not unless the offense was clothing-related.
Lol no my twins are 4 and when they are not listening I just say "I will turn your cartoon off" or "no cuties" but I guess if blankets apply I will tell them I will take those too!
i dont have to do that yet but i remember no matter what my parents took away from me i would always find something else to do....so it never worked when they took something from me...even clothing
She is only one and a half, i just stick her in her play pen for time out. But she has a ton of "favarite" clothes she likes to where. God forbid if I ever pick out her outfit, she rips her clothes off and goes to her dressor and takes everything out looking for her favorites. Im gonna have my hands full when she is a teen. lol
