My child is disciplined. we spank, we dont BEAT, we spank. theres a difference between abuse and discipline. People who think they have the room to put in their opinions about it being wrong are the people whos children are running around screaming in wal mart, SLAPPING their own parents, and talking back. my son DOESNT disrespect us or anyone else for that matter. hes well behaved. He does what hes told......... he doesnt need spankings every day. mabey one spanking once a week. all these parents talking about "my child doesnt listen to me, my child slaps me, my child talks back" BLAH BLAH fucking BLAH....... thats because your chid needs a spanking. Thats all i have to say

LOL-Their children need DISCIPLINE not necessarily a spanking.

I have very well mannered children and respectful children most of the time and I don't spank them when they are ill mannered and disrespectful.

I think the important thingfor both sides of the argument yo remember is that you have to do what you feel is right and works for your family and then realize not everyone is going to agree with you.

I don't spank. My children are very respectful and well-behaved. Different styles work for different people. As long as children are loved and cared for, and your discipline style does not cross the line into abusive, you should parent in a way that works for you and your family.

I think spanking your child every week is excessive.............for the most part we use alternative methods but occassionally we do spank but its about 3 or 4 times a year..............if you have to spank your child every week, then perhaps your method is not as effective as you think.
