My dh thinks it guys fault that woman have abortions he says that if guys would be a man woman would not have to have them. I however think it takes two to tango and if she wasn't smart enough to protect herself she is just as much to blame as men

.
What do you think?

what does he mean "be a man"? a guy can be as much a man as anyone and that wont stop the girl from getting an abortion.

youre husband is just trying to get laid.

He means that a lot of these girls are alone and won't man up to be a father so they feel like they have to abort

Not sure what you're getting at exactly.  They are both responsible for any pregnancy.  They both should have talked about birth control and used a condom each and every time.  If your dh is saying it's the guys fault because he didn't wear a condom then he's right, but the woman should have insisted on it too.

Your saying/he's saying that if more men would man-up and stick around to help out with the raising of and unexpected child, less women would be inclined to have an abortion correct? I for one agree with that 100%! I am not proud, but had to make that choice when I was 18! I was initially going to keep it As he had implied that he was gonna be around. Two weeks later he was avoiding me, my calls and my pages! Then I discovered he had three other babies by three other women that he not only NEVER mentioned, but also that he did not support emotionally/financially! I was NOT into joining that club! Afterward I did not pursue a relationship for two years I was so devastated!! I didn't trust anyan after that for a really long time! Happily married now with three beautiful children that I adore! Please don't bash my decision...it was the right decision for ME at the time...otherwise I would have been another statistic at the welfare office had I not done what I did! :/

I'm sorry you had to go through this! I agree with you.  Yes there are some cases where the women decide without even informing the BD, but in many cases it is because they just do not know what else to do...I'm glad you have found a loving husband and have been able to have what sounds like a good life...
