I confess that when my 5yr old screams, spits, or REPEATLY talks disrespectfull .. I will make him have a teaspoon of italian dressing.  HE HATES IT!! And right now all i had to do was put the dressing on the counter and his screaming, Shitty antics have stopped.

Strange but it works.. And its better then hot sauce and vinager its something purely edibile ds just DOESNT LIKE IT.

I don't know what to say.

Have you tried other things before this?

No judgment here mama,I'm just trying to understand better.

I don't think your doing anything extreme.

ok...well I make my son pretend his finger is a hot dog. He has to eat mustard and ketchup off himself! Then he has to eat cheese off a plate and if he gets really sassy he has to eat pudding...with a fork!

Food should never be used as a punishment, IMO.
