have you ever seen someone die? *sensitive subject*

July 3rd 1997 a bunch of our family and friends went camping. Somewhere around 7 am, as we were all sleeping in our tents, someone started screaming for help. It took us all a while to understand what was going on. Once we realized it was serious we jumped into action. We were right next to a creek and the camp supervisor was waist deep in it screaming for help that there were kids in the water. Dh jumped in immediately. He swam to the bottom and drug the kids out and the others in our camp administered CPR. It was too late. Two boys, aged 16 and 17 died. Dh still doesn't like to talk about it. And there was a whole weird "curse" thing about it in the news because they both witnessed a crime and were supposed to testify.

Anyway, it was so strange. The whole thing.

Have you ever witnessed someone die? Someone you didn't know?

I guess I kinda saw someone die. My best friend was in a car crash in November 2002. She lived through the wreck, but lost all brain activity while at the hospital. I was holding her hand when they took her off life support. It was hard to watch.

2 moms liked this
Yes. I was a can for 2 years but before that, I was in the room holding my grandmas ankle when she died.

As a CNA, I saw several people die. One lady asked for me and when I went in, she looked like she was looking at her parents (they had already passed) and Jesus. I was the only one with her, her sister stepped out of the room to make a call. I told her if she saw her mom and dad it would be ok to go to them. Her eyes lit up and she leaned back and took her last breath. :) / :(. She was an awesome lady.
