My SO has erectile dysfunction

My DH can't get all the way through sex without going flaccid unless he takes Viagra. Sometimes, that doesn't even work.  Much of our sex is ended with mutual masturbation because he has lost his erection.

At first, I really thought it was my fault. I thought that I did not turn him on enough.  It was really a blow to my self-esteem.  It hurt me bad.

My DH has been to a doctor.  They think it may be linked to his sleep apnea.  We need to get him the CPAP, but we still have not done it.

Anyway, I see a lot of women on here that say they would not stay with a man that was not perfect in every way when it came to sex.  They say if a man's penis is too small or does not function properly that they would skip out.  For the record, if you love someone, it isn't like that. His body failing him is not his fault. I love him. I would never leave him over something that he has no control over.

My SO and I haven't had sex in almost au months due to a medication giving him a low sex drive. I'm still with him. Definitely not a reason to leave!

Sex has such a broad spectrum. Intercourse isn't all there is!

I can't believe the amount of women that say they would leave over something like this.  It is sad.

My sex drive sucks but my husband and I are still together. I don't think he's planning on leaving.

Is it bad that I laughed at the post title? If it had said "my so can't hold his boner up", I probably wouldn't have laughed.

I don't get it.

Anyways, is he over-weight?  Is that why he has sleep apnea?

Nope, not at all. I am not sure "why" he has apnea. They said his sinus cavities and

airway are all more narrow than most people. He has all sorts of breathing problems.

How old is he? Is he stressed out?
And I agree, if DH stopped having sex with me because he was being an ass or something I would leave, but if it was something like this, I would stay.
I married a man 14 years older them myself. Chances are his plumbing will go before mine so this will be my reality some day, lol!

38. They said it is normal for men with sleep apnea to have problems with maintaining an erection. It does not appear to be stress related.
