I want to...

Learn how to sew, knit, and crochet, but I am afraid to tell anyone or even try. My worst habit is not doing something because I feel I will fail before I start. I don't even know how to go about learning how to do these things :-(

OMG! same here... i'll feel even worse of a failure if i tried and failured, than have a desire to and not try it. =( i wanna change it though.

i joined a crocheting group on meetup.com... they also offer lessons at any crafting store, if you're interested. i'm too chicken shit to actually go to the meetup or the classes.

I was the same with sewing. Didn't want to learn because I was scared I would suck and then be stuck with a sewing machine lol. Then DH bought me a machine as a surprise and I decided to give it a shot. It's so simple. I taught myself, and I LOVE it. That is my go to pass time activity when I want "me" time. I would be happy to help you in anyway you need if you ever do try to pick it up! :-)
