Confession: When I worked in fast food..

Only if they were exceptionally rude though. I used to work at Subway and Burger King.
Don't get me wrong..I NEVER spit in anyone's food or dropped it on the floor. That's disgusting.
But be an asshole to me and I would screw up your food.
Examples: scream and cuss in the drive through and then tell us you want extra mayo? I drowned someone's burger in mayo for this. I'd be really shocked if she ate it. I know I wouldn't.
At Subway, if people were rude while I was making their sandwich I would squish their sandwich while I was wrapping and bagging it. No one ever noticed.
If people weren't assholes I made sure their food was fresh and made correctly..not slopped together. You didn't even have to go out of your way to be nice. Just don't be rude. That's my confession.
Im sorry but if you cant handle the customers attitudes and rudeness, your in the wrong line of work. I worked FF most of my life and you wouldnt believe how many rude customers i had to put up with, BUT I would NEVER EVER do something like that, I just smiled and gave them their food. You never know what they have been thru or whats going on in thier lives to make them rude.
I don't do that any more. People are nuts and I don't wanna pick fights. But it does piss me off to see someone acting hateful.
Quoting blessedmama4:I used to do the same thing at Pizza Hut. I don't understand why people think being an ass will get you better service.
In all my days of serving and working with food, I've never done such a thing.
It's about time stupid assholes get theirs. I can't stand it when people are unnecessarily rude to people in the service industry and I think they deserve every bit of the spit that's put in their food.
I'm talking about the people who said things like "Did you get all of that? I know people in fast food are fucking retarded so I'll repeat it if I need to." Or "Don't count my change back. I don't trust you to be able to do that. Just hand me what your register says to."
My grandparents owned a business growing up..a restaurant..and I was taught to provide excellent service and a courteous attitude. But my grandparents also taught me never to let people treat me that way. This isn't the way I wanted to handle it but it's the way that allowed me to keep my job and not go insane.
I was absolutely in the wrong line of work. But I didn't do it because I desired it. I did it because my pos car wouldn't take me farther than a mile without getting hot and I needed a job within walking distance.
I have a much better job now and I'm thankful for it every day.
