LMAO! At least I can admit I had a problem in HS. You're the one hiding behind the 'Anon' screen name. Kinda makes YOU a freak. I ain't mad at ya. You're entitled to your opinion.

Quoting Anonymous:

Youre a freak.

I admit I had a problem in social situations after 3 years of home-schooling. But I was going back to a school with all the kids I had just disappeared on 3 years prior. I dealt with it. I've always been somewhat shy, but I am by no means a freak thank you very much.

I understand both sides but maybe the socially awkward kids are products of awkward parents and not necessarily from the homeschooling so maybe if you have normal smart outgoing parents the kids will turn out to be same!

Why would that suck? Why don't you educate yourself? You're making yourself more of an idiot.

Do you even know what an SAT is? Lol.

Quoting Anonymous:

Sucks for your child.

I'm reading responses while waiting for my socially awkward, freak-child to finish up his SATs. Some people have a very narrow view of the world, lol.

My husband was homeschooled. He is not social. He is funny and charming when he needs to be. All his siblings were and are being taught by their mom. They graduated early and became productive members of society. I think that is better than just having gone through the awkward experience that was public high school. I agree they miss out But they aren't freaks. There's plenty more ways to socialize.

Well I would look at the atmosphere within the home in order to judge why the kids are socially awkward I dont think being homeschooled has anything to do with why kids are like this. My kids are homeschooled and are very social as are most homeschooled kids i know.
