I didn't even get a choice. I didn't want it, becuase the thought of the needle in my spine terrified me.
I had pre-eclempsia and the ob said I had to have it becuase of my blood pressure.
My mom had to hold me while I sobbed in fear so I wouldn't move while getting it.
Does that make me less of a woman?
Maybe it makes me a wuss, but I still had that baby in 2 pushes, epidural or no.
Quoting countrygirlkat:If that teenager is so darn smart, why is she a teen mom? That doesn't seem very smart to me........

I'm not even 21 with an almost one year old and a almost 5 year old. I'm married, a high school graduate, and a college graduate. Just sayin'
That chick is a bitch op. Why does she care what you do with your vagina?

Having an epi doesn't make giving birth any less than w/out. Although, if I had to do all 3 again, Id never do the epi again. Not for any altruistic reason. Just because I have moderate arthritis in my lower back which has been attributed to my botched 2nd epi.
Quoting momo3fgr8tteens:Did you tell her they all come out of the same womanly place? I did it both ways and felt more like a woman with the epidural because I wasn't cussing like a sailor through most of it.
Quoting LynnGrey:Had the first naturally. The next two had an epi. No preference.
How is your back?
How old is she? I mean if she is under the age of 18 I suggest she shut her mouth. If she was under the age of 18 I would have told her to keep her legs closed she was grown and knew wtf she was talking about. She wouldn't be happy with me when I go done with her. I did it both way NEVER again will I not have an epi.
