My daughter tried to kill my husband last night.

So apparently, my nineteen month old daughter poured out an entire bottle of Herbal Essence conditioner in the bottom of my bath tub. My husband turned on the water, stepped into the tub (I was in our bed trying to fall asleep), then I heard a really strange half scream/half growl and a loud thud. Well, when he went to fall he grabbed the first thing he could which happened to be the shower head. Needless to say he ripped the whole thing off the wall. So now, we can't use our shower. I mean I'm glad that he didn't fall and break his neck or anything, but jeeeeeze I really loved having a bathroom that I could lock myself in without kids bugging me while I poop or shower. Anyone know how to fix this? Would super glue do the trick?

My dh is not very handy at all.  I just have a feeling our landlord is going to tell us, "You broke it, you fix it." :/

crap....that curvy part attaches the pipe that attached to the hot and cold water.  Jason(dh) just had to tear out half the drywall and replace ours.  But if you try to superglue it..it's not going to hold. You could try to buy some of that blue pipe glue and see if it will attach back but I doubt that it's going to work because the water will come through the pipe where it broke.  How handy is your dh? You might have to get your landlord or a plumber to do it.  Dh spent all easter sunday fixing ours.  If you try the plumbers glue you can buy it at Lowes or home improvement store where the piping and stuff is.   Just go ask the guy for it. I think it's like 5 dollars.  Good Luck.

We rent... It was the head and the piece of curvy like neck pipe that it attaches onto.

superglue won't work honey..they are attached to a pipe behind the shower. Do you own the home? You have to get some of that threading tape and screw the shower head back into the pipe.  But did he rip the pipe and all out..if so, the entire thing has to be replaced.  Yea..my dh just had to do this for our shower head because the pipe behind it cracked and was leaking.

I have a ninja 2 year old, he is quick and into everything!

Wish I could help you with advice on fixing your shower head but I suck at stuff like that.

lmfao!! It's okay I laughed at him when I found him laying the tub on his stomach with his arm over his head and the shower head/pipe dangling from his hand. Funniest thing I have ever seen in my life.

I'm still busy with it, but I'll put it in the mail first thing next week. I promise.

But this is cafe mom and a lot of the women here are apparently perfect moms and like to kick you when you're down. Of course, that behavior just proves they are NOT perfect.

Quoting Nerdy_Mama:

Because I turned my head for two minutes? Kids are quick as I'm sure you know.

Quoting Ber-Lynn:

How did you not notice her pour out the entire bottle?
