my dd is 16 so she has facebook, twitter ect well we are a christian family and while i was checking her things i saw she folowed a new girl, so i check her page and what do i see? a debate about religion
this girl was nice and cordial and then someone jumped in and i guess set her off or started the debate
someone asked
"if your an atheist who do you thank for everything"
"i thank who ever helped me or myself"
"but god gave you everything"
"god didnt give me anything im thankful for"
"whos that?"
"he just didnt"
"what about life?"
"what about it?
"who gave you life"
"my mom gave me life just like you mom gave you life and just like i gave my son life"
im going to skip a little bit
believer"if you know what your talking about how about say it instead of waiting 5 min"
atheist girl my dd followed" ok fine, your god tells you to throw non believers babies against rocks and to kill your own children if they disobey, need i go on?"
i was dumb founded..why would my dd follow someone like that
what should i do?
edit:its not only the fact that this has open debates on her twitter, its the fact that my dd's twitter is supposed to be for friends and teachers only, the girl she followed is 20 years old has a baby and is getting married in the fall (i find it wrong for my dd to be talking to someone so much older)and also lives on the other side of the country, i dont want my dd associating with people who cant keep their cool or speak without cussing, not because they are atheist my dd can believe what ever she wants but she has to be understanding and accepting the girl she followed was a "typical" millitant atheist bashing christians and catholics and other religions im sure (thats what it seems like to me)
update...my dd just got her phone taken away at school for tweeting with this girl....they were talking about sex and drugs, great
Not her fault its there.

What's wrong with debates? Debates scare you? Lord help you.
She stated facts, there is nothing scary about that. I would like my DD to have friends who can think for themselves and make their own decisions about beliefs.
