I vote never. Dh came home one day with a tv for our sons room. That lasted half a day biggest mistake ever, but I got a nice flat screen for my bedroom :)

We put a TV/VCR combo in my DD's room, she's 3 1/2. I had a box full of Disney VHS that I wanted her to be able to watch.

There's nothing wrong with it, as long as you monitor. Hers is NOT set to pick up TV channels, it is purely for movie watching, and only when I say it's okay. She only half pays attention anyway, because we are usually in her room playing with toys during the movie anyway. The only time she just lays in her room and straight up watches is if it's Toy Story lol
