headaches while on my period?

Does anyone know why I get the most awful headaches while on my period? Does this happen to anyone else?

happens to me. i don't know why i just drink lots of water and take it easy.

I get them right before i start. I think its from the hormone levels changing or something like that.

Hormones. I get then like crazy during that time. Excedrin, soda and a dark room is all that seems to help.
