 INHUMANE?

ETA: The way some moms on here speak, you would think it's abusive. I don't see the big deal. Not all kids can stay put and it's really no different than a stroller.

No! I have never seen a child cry or look uncomfortable in one of those. It is usually a little cute animal backpack and mom and dad hold the "tail" I would rather see parents take the extra precaution to keep their child safe, then see children be neglected and hit by cars or kidnapped!

No... But I only used it when my son was a toddler at airports. We would fly from nc to Alaska and that was a long trip. 24 hours including layovers. So I bought one so my son could crawl around and get his energy out during layovers in the terminal. After that, it disappeared. I joke that my son hid it, but we seriously never found it again. I didn't buy a second because our next flight he was older and stayed by me really well. I should add I was the only adult flying since my husband was deployed.

I would never use one but I don't think they hurt the child who is wearing it.

ROFL!

serioiusly though.. totally agreed. Its only inhumane if the parents are actually treating the kid like a dog.
