does anyone else do this?

I'm a maid, and I love it :D
I have one client who cleans before I come. I don't mean, picks up the toys. I mean scrubs toilets, wipes shower down and cleans kitchen sinks clean.
And while I appreciate it (it makes my job easier right!?) I kinda wonder, "why bother, that's what I'm for?"
Does anyone else do this?
Or do you think unabashedly, that its my job so why bother?

I can't afford to hire someone to clean for me, but if I could, I wouldn't preclean the house!! It kind of defeats the purpose to me!

My Grandma used to do it and when i was living with her i helped. A few of her clients were that way! If i could afford it, i would have someone clean for me! I hate doing it!

I dont think it is a good example to set on your kids but whatever floats your boat.

I used to pick up, but never clean. I have no idea why someone would do this.

Maybe she does it so you won't see how nasty they really are. Lol
That is weird, why pay someone when you are going to do it anyway.

What doesn't set a good example? Being a maid?

My sister use to that too. Pretty much the maid only had to vacuum, dust, and clean the windows. It never maid sense to me.
