Working lady vs. Housewife

Ok so, I have no kids. (been ttc for the past year)

Anyway, DH works. I am about to graduate with my degree and I am torn over if I actually want to work or not (DH makes enough to support us)

So, what would you do if there are no kids involved? (yet)

Work & save money; stay home later when you have kids

I worked for the first 3 years of my marriage, when we were ttc and when I was pregnant.
I didn't see why I should stay home. An do what? State at the walls? Lol.
At least after having dd I had a reason to stay home. Something to do.

I'd work until I had other priorities (the kids) but that's just me.  If you're doing well already, then you need to figure that out, I would think you'd be terribly bored, though if you stayed home just cuz.

What else would you do with your time?

I'd work until I popped out a spawnling.

But, that's because I get bored terribly easy.

I'd work... isn't that why you got the degree?

Why go to school and get a degree if you're not going to use it?

I'd work until I was pregnant.

I would work and then decide what to do after having children.

well when i met my husband i had been working for abt 3 years. he wanted me to move in with him so i did...then he came home one day and said that he wanted me to stop working so that we could travel easier with his schedule, so i did. i was a SAHgirlfriend, then wife and now mom. i never asked to be any of those but when he brought it up it sounded like a good idea and since he had no issue with it i didn'teither. i think the real question here is what are you BOTH comfy with? Also how is the savings account? if you are planning on having a child maybe the paychecks that you get could specifically be to be put into an account to help with things when you do become regnant. still live off of his income but pad the bank accountwith yours KWIM? that's what we will do once our son starts full time school. i will work but my income will go to savings and vacations.
