God comes before my husband.

This is a question for those that believe that God comes before their family.

If your husband came to you tomorrow and said that he felt that God was leading him to focus more on his faith and he wanted to leave to go on a mission alone and in a different country for a minimum of two years, would you have a problem with it?

Nope. God doesn't come before anyone or anything for me.

So here's a bump.

I would not have a problem with it.In fact,I would encourage him to go.

Honestly, I would support my husband. I believe in God, and if my husband said this is something he felt he had to do, I would support him, because he is my husband.

Would it be hard? Oh goodness yes it would be. But I love Him, and my husband.

Just curious...so does God come before your husband? What about your children?

Wow...good question! Yes I'd have a problem...but only because I'd miss him, the kids would miss him...Id have so many questions...BUT, I'd support him. Especially because I know my husband. He would never want to leave us for an extended amount of time so if he came to me and said that, and meant it...I'd know it was no joke. I'd spend a lot of time in prayer myself, and it'd be hard...but I trust God completely. :)

I'm sort of torn on that one. I'd have to pray about it because it seems contradictory to the scriptures that exhort him to love me as Christ loved the church.
