my sister doesn't think I'm supportive enough.

My nephew is going to college to be a fireman. I am SUPER proud and I support whatever he chooses.
Last night at their house I simply asked him if he was SURE he wanted to do that and pointed out the obvious risks, early retirement rate and heightened risk of cancer and respitory disease.
My sister is angry at me now because she thinks I'm not supportive enough.
Was I wrong to point out what everyone wants to pretend isn't there?

Being supportive also means asking the hard questions. Just ignore her.

I'm surprised she isn't asking these questions herself tbh. Its her kid.
