I work at walmart. I make 8.45 an hour. I am part-time. I get between 25-32 hours a week. I just got offered a job at a nursing home. Starting pay is 8.45. When I take the state test, it will be 9.25. If I work evenins it will be 9.35. and 9.45 on the weekends. The nursing home is full time. So a guranteed 40 hours a week plus more if I wanted. WHat would you do?

If the higher paying job works with your schedule then I say it's a no brainer.

I'm assuming you want to work full time?  If you do, then take it.

Depends...do you like working with the elderly? Do you have a schedule that will permit 40+ hours a week? If it is something you would like to do and can, I would take the full-time job. However, if it is something you truly would not enjoy doing, I would stay where you are.

Is this even a question? What is the negative for going to the nursing home?
