I just took all their s***

Away from them...all of their toys and clothes...left only their books...I'm so frustrated with the lack of respect my kids have for their stuff and house, and not picking up. So I locked their clothes in the closet and they will have to ask me when they want to get dressed, and I put all their toys into storage. IF they are good, they will earn them back one by one.

If only I could get away with doing this for DH, my life would be golden...

Let us know how it turns out! Didn't super nanny do this one time?

It doesn't hurt kids to be made to understand that it isn't smart to take things for granted. This could be a much less painful experience than learning it IRL the hard way--like losing a job and such.
