Why do people assume...

That rso's are always child molesters or rapists. Sometimes that is not the situation at all. Teens are being forced to register now for "child porn" because they sent a bf/gf an inappropriate pic. I say if you don't know the circumstances don't judge. Especially some women on here.

That was all. Have you known someone that had to re gister as a sex offender and the circumstances of the situation were against them or they really didn't do it?

Ok.
I think it's human instinct to judge. It may be wrong but we still do it.

I try to get the full story before I form an opinion but rape and sexual abuse is a very touchy subject.

i'm thankful we don't that type of site in canada - we don't get to know where registered sex offenders live.

1 mom liked this
I don't judge unless I know the circumstances. And I know someone can become a rso for consensual sex with a fellow teen, or urinating in the wrong place.

Having said that, there are 5 rsos in my apartment complex, all for icky reasons. (shudder)

I work with this population , and yes there are different levels legally.... Level 1 , 2 ect . I do not agree with the law on labeling teens having consensual sex with other teens sex offenders despite the lesser level
. Unless you know the levels as soon as people see or hear sex offender they run . I also have heard some sick shit from real child molesters. Majority are not American and in their country women and children are property so if an adult wanted to have sex with a child they just did . Or they were families who lived in one room and they saw their parents ave sex with each other and them.

If you dont want to be judged just say what the circumstances are.

I have a twin brother that is in prison for sending naked picks back and forth with a 14 year old (we are nearly 40).  I believed him at first when he said she came on to him and he never sent her pics.  Its hard to think someone you shared a womb with could be so depraved.  I actually suspect he had sex with her since he took a deal and only went to prison for 3 years.

I know now he did it.  I havent spoken to him since he admitted guilt and went to prison.
