My husband is gone in a different state for training in his new job and my mother has both my kids because i dont have time to drop them off in the morning before school. My house is empty!!! I didnt cook dinner, i ordered out a nice pasta meal. I took an hr long bath. My clothes are thrown on my bedroom floor and im sitting here with my feet soaking in my foot spa drinking a glass of wine ..in silence. No poopy pampers...no help me with my homework ...no iron my shirt for me... just quiet... :)

Ive needed this. Now i know how my husband feels when hes away. Its not that i dont love my family, but sometimes i feel like im running on fumes. Im a full time student...full time mom with s baby and a school aged child..and a full time wife to a very very busy husband. I have been exhausted for about a yr.

My parents like to take my kids a lot on the weekends. Those nights are so nice. My husband doesn't get home until midnight, so from 2pm till then -- it's nothing but peace and quiet. Pretty darn nice :)

Enjoy!
